Articlepedia – Zebra Scanner App Redesign
Project Overview
Articlepedia is a utility app used by store managers to scan product barcodes and access critical SKU-level insights. From stock levels to sales patterns, it enables fast decision-making to reposition or restock products based on real-time demand.
The existing app suffered from poor UX, cluttered screens, and a lack of visual hierarchy. My task was to redesign the experience to be more intuitive, readable, and mobile-friendly, all while respecting the limitations of FlutterFlow, which was used to build the app.

The Problem
Existing design was cluttered and confusing
Users found it hard to scan and interpret product data quickly
Visual inconsistencies and lack of hierarchy
FlutterFlow framework introduced UI flexibility limitations
The Problem
Existing design was cluttered and confusing
Users found it hard to scan and interpret product data quickly
Visual inconsistencies and lack of hierarchy
FlutterFlow framework introduced UI flexibility limitations
The Solution
Conducted UX evaluation to identify pain points in flow and screen clarity
Simplified layouts with focused information grouping
Enhanced scanning feedback and made product data easy to interpret
Improved typography, spacing, and contrast while staying within FlutterFlow component constraints
Designed with Zebra device usability in mind: large touch areas, minimal tap depth, and fast screen loading

The Result
Drastically improved user satisfaction with clearer product data presentation
Faster product scanning and stock decision-making
Positive feedback from store teams on interface clarity and usability
Set new design standards within the FlutterFlow limitation scope
Helped the app become a more reliable tool for supply-demand alignment at store level
I was also invited to conduct a session with Business Analysts, walking them through the UX journey, key decisions, and how design thinking helped solve usability issues — highlighting the value of design in business operations
